Publication
Finally the course is ready for
students to use! But publication
isn’t the end of the process:
authors and specialized teacher
trainers travel across Spain
helping teachers to get the best
from their course, answering
questions, giving advice and
listening to comments. The
feedback they gather will help
to provide the basis for the next
coursebook!

Once the development process
is completed and all reviews and
corrections have been made the files
are sent to the printer for printing and
binding. They are also used as a source
for digital conversion to e-books. When
the books are finished they are shipped
to the warehouse and are finally ready
for distribution.

The manuscript is edited and designed
to see how things will look on the page,
and photography and artwork research
is conducted in order to provide the
most appropriate images. As the process
progresses the pages go through a
systematic review that includes several
rounds of checking.
As the design evolves, content is checked
to see how it works on the page, how
it can help students find their way
around, and how it can engage their
interest. At this stage we invite teachers
to try the materials while they are still
in development, in order to incorporate
their feedback and ensure that they will
function in the classroom.
In the meantime, audio and video
content is recorded, edited and checked
for clarity and consistency. When all
of the course materials are complete
(audio, video, illustrations, photos ...)
the whole range of course components is
prepared. This includes Student’s Books,
Workbooks, Teacher’s Books, classroom
materials, interactive whiteboard tools
and much more. At the same time digital
books and Apps are developed, using
the same original material transformed
for digital media and adapted so that it
will work interactively.
