Discover our carefully developed range of packs and readers.
The books at Stages 1+,
2, and 3 introduce children
to the sounds from the
alphabetic code, along with
tricky words, blending and
segmenting CVC words.
Each stage progresses
through frequency of use,
starting off with the most
frequent sound and ending
with the least frequent sound.
The books at Stage 4 revise
sounds that children have
learned in Stages 1+, 2
and 3. After this revision, the
children can go on to read
Stage 4 Floppy’s Phonics
Fiction and Non-fiction.
The books at Stage 5 introduce
children to alternative spellings for
sounds that they have learned in
Stages 1+, 2 and 3. When they
have learned these alternative
spellings they can go on to read
Stage 5 Floppy’s Phonics Fiction
and Non-fiction. Continue reading
