There are a variety of climate zones in Spain. All of them are
influenced
by differences in latitude, distance from bodies of water and altitude. For
example, many parts of the country border on bodies of water, and large
areas are mountainous.

Temperatures are
mild all year, and
there’s usually a lot of
precipitation. Winters
are not very cold and
summers are usually
cool. Beech trees are
common here.

all year, and there isn’t a
lot of precipitation. Palm
trees are common here.
Mediterranean climate
Summers are hot and winters
are mild. There isn’t a lot of
precipitation, but there can
be torrential rains. Pine trees
are common here.
Mountain climate
Winters are cold and
summers are mild. There’s
a lot of precipitation,
often snow. Fir trees are
common here.
Continental
Mediterranean climate
Temperatures can be
extreme, with very cold
winters and very hot
summers. There isn’t a
lot of precipitation, but
it often snows in the
winter.
