Hot climates
Equatorial climates
have high temperatures
and a lot of precipitation all year
Tropical climates
have high temperatures
all year. There’s a lot of precipitation in the
summer, but the weather is dry in the winter.
Desert climates
have very little precipitation
all year. The temperatures can be very
extreme.
Temperate climates
Oceanic climates
have mild temperatures all year
long. There’s a lot of precipitation, especially in
the winter.
Mediterranean climates
have mild winters and
hot summers. It rains in the spring and autumn,
but summers are usually dry.
Continental climates
have cold winters and hot
summers. There’s not very much precipitation.
