Introduction to the unit
How to start
•
Look at the illustration and encourage children to work in
pairs and describe the things they see to one another.
•
Ask children questions about the picture.
Where are they?
What can you see? Look at the different places at school.
What can you do in these places?
•
Provide examples and prompt children as necessary.
For example, ask:
Can we play basketball in the library?
Encourage children to identify different places at school and
elicit the activities being carried out in each place.
