What does
weather
mean?
People often think that weather and climate are the same thing,
but they are not.
Climate refers to the typical
atmospheric conditions
in an area over a long period
of time. Weather, in contrast, refers to atmospheric conditions in an area at
a specific moment. We use instruments to measure these conditions.
