Games
•
Play the ‘Healthy weekend’ game. Ask students to imagine
the healthiest weekend they can think of. Ask them to take
out a piece of paper. At the top of the paper they write the
title ‘My healthy weekend’. The paper is divided into three
columns for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
•
They have to draw (or write if they can, with help) the food
they think they should eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Then write activities for each day, such as play in the park,
watch TV, walk the dog, make a dance routine, and then
also what they do for hygiene.
•
The following weekend they take their chart/table home and
do as much of their healthy weekend as possible. They share
their diet with the class the following week and tell the class
which parts of their healthy weekend they managed to do.
