Activity 1
•
Ask children to look at the body andmatch the words. Check
answers in pairs and then with the whole class.
Activity 2
•
Ask children to circle the joints. Check answers (wrist,
elbow, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle).
Activity 3
•
Recap some of the things from the unit. What did they talk
about? What did they learn? What do our bodies need?
•
Tell the children to look back at the unit, especially the
photos and the content boxes.
•
Read the first content box out loud and ask them to point to
the right picture. Tell themto drawa line fromone to the other.
Continuewith the other content boxes, allowing the children
time to look back and find the right pair.

Tell children to take out a crayon and to colour the happy or
sad face to indicate whether or not they are confident with
different words.
•
As the children are colouring the faces, walk around the class
asking different individual children questions. Informally
assess progress.
