Analysing a budget
To understand how someone uses money, we can look at their budget
and their spending and saving habits.
Peter receives €20 every month as pocket money. He spends a total of
€17 per month on sweets, the cinema and his favourite magazines.
He puts the rest of his money, €3, in his money box. When he has saved
enough money, he wants to buy a new computer game.
