The world around us
There are more than 1 800 rivers in Spain. Some rivers are quite
short, particularly in northern Spain, but there are several long rivers
which flow into the Atlantic Ocean. Their volume varies a lot between
summertime, when there are sometimes
droughts
and wintertime,
when there can be floods.
