As you have seen in this unit, there is an immense variety of tools and resources that you can use to manage your
Personal Learning Environment.
The classification system in this unit is just a general guide because most applications offer various possibilities. For
example, a blog can be used to create information and also to share it with other people. Some people also use blogs to
manage information by saving and classifying links to other web pages.
You should understand that having too much access to information and resources can have a negative effect on people.
For example, imagine if you received 200 emails every day; visited and posted on two social networks and a blog; read
several newspapers; updated your web page and communicated with your friends, family and classmates by WhatsApp;
published your photos on Instagram and commented on your friends’ photos. For that reason, the most important thing
is to
