TIPS FOR NAILS
1.
Check that the nail is shorter
than the thickness of the
wood so that it doesn’t stick
out. If it sticks out you should
bend them.

Before starting to hammer in
the nail, it helps to make a
small hole with a punch.
3.
You shouldn’t put in nails
in a straight line along the
grain. Put them in at intervals
or diagonally so the wood
doesn’t split.
