Hinges

allows them to move.

There are different types of glue, each
one with different characteristics.

Glue gun
: An electric machine that you put
a solid thermoplastic stick into.
When we plug in the gun, the resistor
melts the glue.

Adhesives
Contact adhesive
: Sticks immediately.
Wood glue
: Takes 20 minutes to set.
Epoxy glue
: The two substances
are mixed in the same proportion.
Setting times is between 20 minutes
and one hour. Very resistant to water.

Before assembling the pieces you have to shape the piece where they join correctly.

Painting
This protects and decorates the
wood. You can use oil or acrylic paint,
lacquer, enamel, varnish or stain.
How to paint wood
1.
Check that the surface is smooth.

You should use a primer first so you
don’t use too much paint later.
3.
When the wood is dry, sand the
surface.
4.
Always apply the paint or varnish in
the same direction, with a paint brush.
5.
You should apply several
coats

paint to get a good finish and let the
paint dry properly between each coat.
6.
When you’ve finished painting, close
the paint tins and clean and dry the
brushes.
