Activity 1
Ask the students to look at the pictures at the top of the
page and to draw them in the correct places.
Activity 2
Ask the students to look at the pictures and match them to
the sentences they have learned in the unit.
My progress
Tell the students to take out a crayon and to colour the happy
or sad face to indicate whether or not they are confident
with different unit parts.
As the students are colouring the faces, walk around the
class asking various questions. Informally assess progress.
Extra idea!
Check
Ask the students to think back to how the unit started and
ask them to remember what they have studied (places,
people, subjects at school, objects, actions, behaviour at
school). What page or activity did they like best? What was
difficult?
Review
Place the flashcards for the unit on the walls around the
classroom. Ask the students to stand up. Say different
words and tell the students to turn around and face the
correct card.
Sing the unit song or say the unit chant. Do the activities.
