Test A or B
Revision
Look at the opening page of the unit. Ask the students to
describe as much as they can about the different places at
school and the activities that are carried out in them. See if
they can name people who work at school and if they can
describe how these people help them.
Memory game.
Go back to the first drawing in the Class
Book and let the students look at it for one minute. Tell
them to remember as many things as they can. Tell them to
close their books then ask them how many things they can
remember. Ask questions of the whole class to check their
answers.
Ask the students to place different classroom objects on their
desk (scissors, pencil, crayon, pencil sharpener, glue, rubber).
Say:
One, two, three, show me… (your crayon).
Students hold
up their crayons. After a few rounds ask different students
to be the teacher. Following this, they can play a few rounds
in groups of three to four, with different students giving
instructions.
Take a look at the
Happy Class Posters
from the group work
page. Ask students to reflect on how they have made an
effort to help be well behaved at school.

in classwithdistinct needs and levels. Additional support can
be provided for students who are struggling or additional
challenges can be added for advanced classes.
Use formal and informal ways of evaluating progress. After
you have completed the unit test, complement this with
a revision game, providing the opportunity to informally
assess learning outcomes.
