How to start
Ask the students to think back to the previous lessons and
some of the things talked about (good/bad behaviour at
school). See if they can think of different things we should
do.
Activities: step-by-step guide
Activity 1
Think of ideas to make a happy class. Different students can
draw or write suggestions on the board. For example,
In a
happy class we… (share, help each other, raise our hands…)
Organise the students intogroups of three or four. Distribute
scissors, glue and A3 paper to each group. Ask the students
to look at the poster template for the unit and to cut out the
item they are going to illustrate with their group.
In groups, the students decide how they are going to
illustrate their ideas.
They can each do a small picture and glue it to their poster.
Set an established time to complete posters and remind the
students when time is running out.
When groups have finished their posters, display the posters
and ask the groups to describe their work.
Ask the students if they liked the activity and how they
decided to design the poster. Did they encounter any
difficulties? How could things be better next time?
Collect the materials and ask the students to put away extra
labels.
