Slideshow presentations
There are computer programs designed for these types of presentations. Some
programs support audio files and reproduce sound as the slides pass automatically,
like a video.
How to make a slide presentation:
Allocate at least
one slide to each section of the project
: title and authors,
introduction, method, results, conclusions and bibliography.
Information on each slide should be a
brief outline
.
The slides are a guide for
the spectator to follow the oral explanation.
Make sure the
font size
and
style
are easy to read. Don’t use the same colour
font as the background.
Don’t include too many slides. This will keep the spectators interested.
Use visual effects carefully, so they don’t distract from the main ideas you want
to present.
If a slide has a
background
, make sure that it doesn’t make the slide difficult to
read or the images difficult to see.
As you can see, the slides do not show all the details. They outline the most
important facts and pieces of information. The presenter explains orally the details
of the content of each slide.
Slideshow presentations
are a way of presenting an oral presentation of a
research project.
