Activities: step-by-step guide
Activity 1
•
Organise students into groups of 4-5. Distribute pieces of
paper, scissors and coloured pencils to each group.
✔
Teaching tip
•
Keep in mind that different techniques can be used to form
groups. The more variety when forming groups, the better.
•
Students take turns to trace their partner’s hands onto the
piece of paper. In the hand shape they draw a picture of how
they can help at home. They need to colour the pictures.
•
When they have finished, they cut out the hand shape.
Encourage them to show one another and other groups
their hand prints.
•
Collect the material and the hand shapes and, together,
make a “Give a hand at home” poster.
