LET'S REVISE
Review
•
Place flashcards for the unit on the walls around the
classroom. Ask students to stand up. Say different words
and tell students to turn around and face the corresponding
card.
•
Sing the unit song or say the unit chant.
•
Memory game.
Go back to the opening illustration of the
unit for one minute. Tell the students to remember as
many things as they can. Tell them to close their books and
then ask them how many things they can remember. Ask
questions to the whole class to check their answers.
Feedback
•
Ask the students to work in pairs and to look back through
the unit. They need to put a cross (X) next to the page
number to which page was their favourite in the unit. Find
out which page was the most popular with the class. Why
did they like this page?
Assessment opportunity
•
Distribute flashcards to give students in the class. Write six
words in a row on the board (the five words from the cards
and one extra word). Ask students with the cards to come
to the board and to place the card under the correct word.
