•
Distribute magazines and encourage students to find
photos of flats and houses. Make two large class collages
– one with photos of houses, the other with photos of flats.
•
Draw a large Venn diagram on the board. Write the word
‘flat’ and ‘house’ above each circle. Encourage students to
think of items for each. Invite the students to come to the
board and draw or write words in the corresponding place.
