There is transport for people and transport for things.
Divide the board into two sections; on one side draw one or
two stick people, on the other side draw 8-10 stick people.
Invite different students to come to the front of the class
and to draw different forms of collective or non-collective
transport in the correct column.

Different individual students come to the front and put

transportation is for things, for a few people or for a lot of
people. Point out that some planes are for people while
others are for transporting things. This also happens with
trains.

Talk to the class about good appropriate behaviour on public
transport. What can we do to be respectful passengers
when travelling by bus, train or plane?
