Activities: step-by-step guide
Activity 1
Ask the students to follow the paths and say where the
different people are.
Give instructions to different students and keep track of
progress. Say, for example,
Point to the bakery. Point to the
man walking his dog. Where is the cat?
Activity 2
Ask the students to look at the illustrations and to write the
words in the correct place.
Activity 3
Ask the students to complete the sentences with the
missing words and to match the completed sentences with
the correct image.
Check answers for the three revision activities and
congratulate the class on their good work.
My progress
Tell the students to take a crayon and to colour the happy or
sad face to indicate whether or not they are confident with
different items.
As students are colouring the faces, walk around the class
asking different individual students questions. Informally
assess progress.
Extra idea!
Check
